September 24th, 1938
People say:
“When you do what you love, you’ll never work a day in your life”
So yeah, it’s been 2 years of HARD WORK filled with laughter, tears, lots of sweat, maybe a bit of blood (completely unrelated to the job), corny jokes, and a group of annoying Skippers I wouldn’t change for anything and that I’d give my life for.
Truly, some of the highlights of these 2 years have been: the people I’ve met, the interactions I’ve had with guests, and most importantly, my fellow Skippers. Skippers always know how to make the best out of a bad situation, Skippers always have the perfect joke to lighten the mood, Skippers are EXTREMELY loud (for some reason) so you’ll recognize them in the most random places ever, and Skippers will always have your back when you need it most.
Here’s to us, Skips,
To more adventures in the wild jungle,
Once a Skipper, always a Skipper.
