Tou do know that in Tamara dr Lempicka’s name the letter ‘c’ is actually pronounced and the Polish ‘Ł’ sounds very close to the English ‘w’, like this: taˈmara de wɛmˈpit͡ska We can neglect the ‘L’ sound, but one can not apply the English reading of ‘ck’ as ‘k’ - it completely mutilates the surname.
