‼️ BREAKING: Germany's β€œcost-of-living protests” have turned into rioting & looting. 30+ cities with molotov cocktails thrown at police. Here’s why it matters to Canada: In 2024, the National Post revealed a SECRET RCMP report warning that Canada "may descend into civil unrest once citizens realize the hopelessness of their economic situation." I’ll never forget the headline: "Canadians may revolt once they realize how broke they are." And I foresee this happening on our current trajectory. Unfortunately, there’s no plan from the Liberals to prevent this. I worry that it’s a matter of time before the same violence spills on our streets. Our government has been so focused on Donald Trump, they have lost sight of what Canadians need including tackling the many domestic issues that plague our overtaxed & inefficient economy.
But the solution isn’t difficult: we have to control our spending. Balance the budget. Unleash our resources. Let the private sector fund projects. And cut taxes so no one working, earning under $50K/yr, pays a dime in taxes. There needs to be a monumental shift in how we deal with the crisis that’s looming in the horizon.
β€œWe’re on pins and needles” @KaraSwisher and @ProfGalloway are nervous/excited as election results come in, but they’re thrilled to be in Canada! πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦
