It’s a place you go to get bought coffee not where you spend your own money, coffee quality is on par with starbucks imo concept is great tho!

The idea of being the “perfect housewife” in the 1940s came with a long list of expectations that would seem almost unimaginable today. 🤍 Women were often expected to maintain a spotless home, prepare dinner before their husbands arrived, dress neatly, greet them with a smile and avoid discussing problems after a long working day. Household advice from the era also encouraged wives to listen patiently, avoid interrupting their husbands, create a peaceful atmosphere and put their husband’s comfort first. Behind this idealised image was a demanding reality. Many women spent their days cooking, cleaning, raising children and managing the household, often without the modern appliances we take for granted. These rules reflected the traditional gender roles promoted at the time, although not every household followed them.
