The Journal | GOOD MORNING by Ailana Geven Keller—My morning started—let’s say gleefully. Emily yelled from the living room that she was coming in. || Read this and more on Patreon (link in bio). || “Happy Halloween. Do something cute.” She had my Canon pointed at me. “I was going to put my leggings on first.” She looked around the room. “Are you even my sister? If you say you were going to wear shoes, I’m calling Officer Lopez and asking for help!” Okay… granted… How can you not smile when that kind of joy greets you first thing in the morning? It is Halloween, and the kids are all going to a party at church later. Geoni’s surprise Halloween outfits for Emily and Kel have yet to be unveiled. But before that, Dylan Cruz, the tutor we’re considering, is coming by to meet everyone. The school gave us his name and said he’s great, so we’re optimistic. Jason has gone to Walmart to get some things for dinner tonight. We’ve invited everyone to our condo for a casual paper-plate event. I’ll share more details about our plans for the evening later. It’s going to be a big day. My putzing around the condo and writing will probably be the least interesting part, but I’ll check in later. See you then! ~~ PLEASE HELP THE JOURNAL GROW: If you’d like to help AGI, please leave a comment, save this post, and share it. Your comments not only let me know what you think and give my day a lift, but they also help this post get shown to others who might like it. Traditionally crazy quilts used fabrics like silk and velvet and the feather stitch was often used as away to conceal and reinforce the raw edges. It was also used because it’s a lovely decorative stitch. I had a lot of remnants and I wanted to use the pieces as is and not trim them too much. The results is an asymmetrical freeform mosaic like pattern. I have a full tutorial on how I created the pattern and the construction of the pouch on my YouTube channel. I feel like it’s a good place for me to go into more detail. I hope you find the tutorial helpful and that you enjoy making this little project😄🧡👍🏼
Delhi Environment Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa on Tuesday accused Punjab’s AAP government of worsening Delhi’s pollution through stubble burning. He targeted AAP leaders Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia, saying, “Don’t ruin Delhi again.” Sirsa claimed Punjab had reported over 1,000 stubble-burning incidents and registered 271 FIRs. He also alleged that Punjab Police personnel were involved in setting crop waste on fire. The statement came as stubble burning’s contribution to Delhi’s PM 2.5 pollution was estimated at 8% on Tuesday, according to government data. Sirsa said the Punjab government had spent ₹20–25 crore on advertisements claiming there was no stubble burning in the state. On Monday, Delhi’s AQI reached 324, entering the ‘very poor’ category and prompting authorities to implement Stage II of GRAP restrictions. AAP Delhi chief Saurabh Bharadwaj hit back, questioning the locations of Delhi’s air-quality monitoring stations and alleging that they did not reflect pollution levels on the ground. With both sides trading charges, Delhi residents continue to face worsening air quality.
Would you travel to Saudi Arabia?🇸🇦
RAWR!!! Trinkceratops here ready to throw down a #ferociousfriday I’ve been given no breakfast and instead got a little piece of meat with some suspicious crunchy bits inside and now I’m feeling sleepy. Mom just prepared my car seat and said “one more (work) appointment and then we go” apparently I’m headed back to the big scary hospital to get blood work to see if my kidney values are improving. If they are then I finish my meds for a week and go back for an ultra sound to see if I’ve peed out the ureter stone. If my values aren’t good….lets just say we won’t need Halloween shenanigans to scare us because we will be facing a much scarier situation. So help kick some Jurassic butt send me some good vibes to have some good bloodwork results today 🦖 Trinkceratops 2.0 outfit by @moosiechidesigns 💚 #trinket #trinketfanclub #toyfoxterrier #triceratops
