krabi 24’
in vietnamese, we have this phrase “xách ba lô lên và đi”, which translates “get your backpack and go” in english. and right at this moment, as i am writing this copy, i can proudly say i have truly “lived” this well-used phrase.
the idea of solo travel has never came across my mind. it was never something that i have imagined for myself. yet, in the most unexpected way, at 11am on an ordinary saturday, while i was enjoying my “weekend brunch ritual”, a thought struck me - what would it feel like to have brunch in a another country? this simple question filled me with wonder and excitement…
and that is how this trip began. and krabi will always hold a special place in my own story:
1. the best part of solo traveling is that you get to meet new people who are experiencing the same journey! i had the chance to chat with people from all around the world, which was incredibly interesting. here is a picture of the belongings from me and other travelers that i get to meet and befriended during our island hopping tour! the ocean was stunning, and we stashed our bags under a tree by the beach to go for a swim 🌊
2. maya bay was the first stop of this island hopping tour and i was mesmerized!!
3. i love ocean air hahah my hair doe😙
4. a cute visitor who has been my night time company:)
5. kampong vibes breakfast i love it so much!!!
6. bamboo island - again, mesmerized!! loving the heat hahaa
7. ao nam mao pier 🏞️🛥️
8. i felt so lucky to be able to get such a nice table for my lunch at railay beach!! watermelon juice doe >>>>> 🍉🍉
9. a pic of me taken by a nice chinese fellow traveller heheh i spoke chinese with them and lowkey, my chinese is improving a little bit lol:)
10. best krabi meal for reals!! the pork belly was🥹🤌 i cant get enough!!!
11. and lastly, my resort view - a zen moment🫶
