I learned some interesting facts on this trip. Only about 1/3 of the those who attempt to see Mt. McKinley, actually do. Of those who see her, only a few see her in all her glory because she is only fully visible about 30% of the time.

The feather in this reel is from the bird known as the Osprey, one of the most successful hunters in the animal kingdom. BUT THEE most successful is the dragonfly, how crazy is that?

Lastly, those are cute little sar-bear paw prints on the cabin door. I know bears can be annoying but I can’t help but find them a little endearing as well.
