Domestic violence is a serious violation of human rights! I have been against this since very young, even before I knew it had a name. I just knew I had to help, I knew it wasn’t right, and I knew in my young heart that I would NEVER tolerate it when I got older.

It not only causes physical harm but also deeply scars the emotional and psychological well-being of victims, often leaving long-lasting impacts. Women, especially, face disproportionate levels of domestic violence. It is imperative that we stand together and support each other. When women support each other, they create a strong network that can provide safety, resources, and encouragement, empowering survivors to break free from abusive situations. Today let sister, friend neighbor, cousin, brother, etc. no, they are not alone. This is a very lonely and horrifying walk. Let’s pray for the abuser because I believe they were abused.
