Students from Dr. Elaine Thompson’s HIST 486 Introduction to Public History class volunteered with the Lincoln Parish Museum at Blueseum Fest, a fundraiser for the museum featuring Ruston-raised Blues phenom D. K. Harrell on October 12. These students are currently curating new exhibits on the art and Native American artifacts collections and on the families who resided in the Kidd-Davis house, which now serves as the home of the LPM. The new displays will join exhibits designed by students enrolled in the same course in 2022.
