Comments like these used to kill me, especially the ones about things I can’t change, or where I felt completely misunderstood.

I hope sharing a small sample of critique shows you that you really can’t win. Trust me, I’ve tried. Today, I’ve made peace with it.

Here’s what genuinely helped me because I know my younger self would have really benefited from this:

1) Forgiveness

The comments that hurt most are usually about things you haven’t made peace with yet.

For me, that was my past: decisions I made out of young insecurity, and decisions I made to scale my business at all costs. They hurt because I hadn’t forgiven myself and was still carrying shame.

Once I accepted that God had already forgiven me, those comments lost their power. You can’t shame someone for something they’ve already made peace with.

Once I forgave myself, I could forgive the people who wrote them.

Hurting people hurt people. The best I can do is see their hurt, pray for their healing, and not let their negativity change how I see myself anymore.

2) LOVE people

I only realized how untrue many of these comments were once I started being a better friend & daughter, specifically once I started affirming others and truly loving on people.

When you see the good in others and tell them, in some strange way, you start seeing the good in yourself too. The love you give also gets poured back into you.

When your real life gives you evidence that you’re loveable, meaningless comments online don’t affect you anymore because you know it’s simply not true. There’s no more doubt.

3) Write letters to your haters.

There used to be this person on Reddit who had next-level hate for me.

So I wrote them a letter and let myself rage, pen to paper. Writing it out releases it from your body so it can’t control you anymore. 10/10 recommend.

You also can’t change the mind of someone set on misunderstanding you. Even Jesus was criticized no matter what he did (Matthew 11:18–19). If people couldn’t agree on him, they’re not going to agree on me.

It’s always easy to judge when you’re not the one in it. What people have to say often says more about what’s unresolved in them than it does about you.

❤️Someone has feelings for you, but they don't want to be in a relationship, they don't know what they will do in the future, but as if now they don't want to be tied down.
❤️And that is the reason why you two keep on going through cycles over and over again.
This person has feelings for you, but they don't want commitment & they also are not telling you this clearly.
❤️They want to meet or talk to you eventually, but whenever a serious conversation comes up, they just evade the whole thing.
❤️This person is currently using so many things, a person or substances to distract themselves, they indulge in unnecessary pleasure to ignore their feelings.
This person also suddenly creates distance when they are not able to control their feelings for you.
❤️You feel so hurt when this person behaves in this toxic way,

This person's behaviour is actually coming from fear of getting hurt. They can be an avoidance.
❤️They also want this assurance of getting attention from multiple different people, but when they are getting attention from you, it makes them feel more emotionally overwhelmed. They can understand why they can control their feelings when it comes to you and they want to run from it.
❤️This person feels so attracted to you because you are the only one that can force them to change to do better.
❤️This person will be approaching you differently now, as your detached behaviour has jolted them to the reality that if they don't work hard, you will walk away from their life & never return.

A suspected shark was spotted swimming through a flooded intersection following severe rainfall, on November 2. This bizarre wildlife encounter was brought on by a historic, 1-in-1,000-year storm system that stalled over Florida’s east coast, submerging the region in up to 24 inches of torrential rain.

@natalieevamarie reveals what it would take for her to go to companies like AEW and return to the squared circle.
