Reflecting the past few days upon my walk with Christ, I revisited the place where I found Him for the last time. These stained glass windows and sanctuary walls hold so many beautiful moments of joy, tears, and love. When I received God in this place as a little girl, I did so guided and often motivated by the legacy of spiritual devotion that came before me through my family. What I find to be most beautiful is that I come back as the woman I am now and I am proud that my relationship with and devotion to God has exceeded the suggestions of those who came before me. I follow Him by choice. What a testament to God’s worth and right to our hearts to know that in my free will, I have chosen everyday to offer up my life to Him.
