Big Tech is destroying nature for profit.

Google reportedly cut down 250,000 trees in Finland illegally to build a data centre, without carrying out the environmental impact assessment required by Finnish law.

Finnish authorities ordered Google to halt construction, but the damage has already been done. What was once a forest has been turned into a muddy field.

To make matters worse the site is filled with murky water that flows into the nearby river, raising concerns and potentially threatening wildlife.

Join thousands and add your name to our petition, calling for an immediate halt to Big Tech’s mega data centre build-out. Link in bio @greenpeace
