October has been lovely. A time of healing, connection, and an amount of pumpkin spice that leaves me wondering if, perhaps, I am not as original as I would like to be. i’ve been filling out The Examined Year and so enjoying it. it led me to create some goals for myself this month that were surprising and refreshing. also in decorating it, i’ve run out of several of my washi rolls i’d been hanging onto since i got them in tokyo three years ago. well worth it !

i went to my niece’s bday party at chuck e. cheese and it made me miss their breadsticks from like 25 years ago. those things were amazing. so i scoured reddit, found a recipe, and tried to recreate them. unfortunately amazon fresh was out of pizza dough so i tried crescent roll dough and turns out, the right dough matters. also i think it was the wrong recipe anyway. photo #14, if you’re wondering. don’t ask why there is so much cerave on the kitchen table. i have sensitive skin and we’d just stocked up and sometimes it feels like a lot to take things all the way to the room they belong in so i’ll just slowly take them from the nearest hard surface to the next nearest hard surface until they eventually get to where they belong…

Arishfa kabhi apni social media following ya reels ka show-off nahi karti, phir baar-baar ye topic kyun uthaya jaata hai? 🤷‍♀️ Social media, makeup aur acting talent koi galat baat nahi hai. Arishfa already TV serials aur movies mein apni pehchaan bana chuki hai. So Amrapali ji, facts samjhiye, unnecessary gyaan mat dijiye! 🔥👑

Can’t believe how much (positive!) feedback is in my DMs after going makeup free on air. It was actually an accident. I forgot my makeup bag. And instead of wasting time with a dash to Chemist Warehouse or Mecca across the road I thought.. well.. I can still do my job well without it. Maybe people won’t even notice. Thank you @laughlinesproject for inspiring me. For someone who’s always been very conscious about their skin I never thought I would be comfortable doing this but I think we need to remember we hold a lot more value than our outward appearance. Also, I’ll never be as gorgeous as @maggieraworth_9 who did it first but it’s nothing a bit of good lighting can’t fix!!

The baby is finally asleep, but going out for date night still isn’t an option… so we’re bringing date night home. 🤍🍿 As new parents, we’re learning that time together can look like blankets on the couch, our favorite movie, and the baby monitor right beside us. Always. 🥹 Our compact Aurzen EAZZE E1R turns our living room into our own little movie theater with: ✨ Roku built in, with streaming apps and free live TV 📽️ A projected screen up to 120 inches 🙌 No extra streaming device needed 🤍 A portable design with an adjustable 180° stand 🔊 A built-in speaker in the base for fuller sound Baby monitor beside us, big-screen movie in front of us.
