I have to say when I hear this song, I immediately think of GoodFellas which is one of my all time favorite movies. I know I’m supposed to say “Adventures in Babysitting” 😂 But I digress. This post is about Elizabeth Shue who turned 61 this month, which feels totally impossible! She was one of the many actresses I looked up to when I was growing up. She’s only a few years older than me and always seemed so relatable. I loved that her brother was Andrew Shue on Melrose Place (words can’t describe how badly I wanted to be part of an acting brother and sister duo 🤣) and of course I loved her in movies like Cocktail, Karate Kid, Back to the Future and Leaving Las Vegas. Seeing her brings back great memories.
