First Solo Hike ✅ Fun fact about myself: I’m obsessed with the 7 Summits, especially Mount Everest & K2. Just for perspective, this mountain is 372m, Everest is 8,848m. This is the highest peak on the Island of Curaçao & on a clear day you can see all the way to Venezuela from up here.

As legend would have it, a slave by the name of Christopher would escape to this very mountain to evade capture. Curaçao is rich with history. Y’all know I’m always late I was the last person to start the climb. It gets so hot up here that visitors aren’t allowed to climb past 10am. I definitely enjoyed the solitude, being one with nature, & talking to God. Can’t wait to bag my next summit. Can I call myself a mountaineer now lol?
