🚨BREAKING: MAGA candidate Mike Caruso, the suspended Palm Beach County clerk accused of m*lesting his young grandson, just lost in a landslide to Democrat Yvette Drucker. Caruso, a DeSantis appointee who refused to drop out despite felony child s*x abuse charges, still pulled 38% of the vote—close to the share of registered Republicans in the county. Ironically, Caruso voted for the death penalty for adults convicted of s*xual battery against a child.
HYROX BIRMINGHAM 💪🏼💚 What a day, what an experience! Im SO proud of us! I haven’t pushed myself like that for a long long time! Run total 8k - 38 mins 19 secs is phenomenal in itself for me because I’m not the strongest runner! First girls in our category and 1 hour 10, 12 seconds 👏🏼💪🏼 unreal! Absolutely gutted we got disqualified, when you’re blowing out your arse and so focused it’s easy to make a mistake and we’ve got to take it on the chin. When you’ve trained so hard for something and gave it everything you have on the day it’s really disheartening but thankfully we didn’t find out until after else I defo would have spat my dummy out before we finished. We added time on for ourselves on the sled pull because we thought we were done and we weren’t so we had to run back and do one last length which was fine but we wasted time. But then we thought farmers carry was the same as burpees and lunges but it wasn’t it’s 2 laps so we missed 1 lap of farmers carry which resulted in a disqualification 😣💔! Time wise it wouldn’t have made much difference and that’s what we went for! It’s the fastest we’ve ever done it, the best we’ve ever performed and I’m proud of keeping up with my pocket rocket setting the running pace 💪🏼 If I can take anything from my first comp it’s to be a bit better connected with what’s going on so I don’t make any mistakes again but we live & learn 💚 We had a fantastic day, our husbands and children were there cheering us on and we’ve raised a great amount of money for @macmillancancer 💚 Thankyou to everyone who donated and supported us. Onto the next 🔥
Comment FUNCTION and I’ll send you the link for 3 FREE DAYS inside my MLAM Membership! ❤️ After my second baby, I started noticing my belly button pushing outward, especially during movements where I was hanging or planks, push ups, etc. And something I’ve learned over the years is that while we can’t exercise away the actual opening in the abdominal wall, we CAN work on improving how our core functions and manages pressure. Here are 3 things I focused on that made a difference for ME 👇 1- BREATHING & PRESSURE MANAGEMENT This was HUGE. Learning how to expand through my rib cage and backside instead of constantly pushing pressure outward toward my belly button helped me better coordinate my deep core during movement. 2- MODIFYING HOW I TRAINED Instead of continuing to push through movements where I couldn’t manage pressure well, I worked on regressing exercises, improving my control, and gradually building back up. That doesn’t mean avoiding challenging exercises forever! 3- BUILDING STRENGTH THROUGH MY WHOLE SYSTEM Not just doing more ab exercises! I focused on how my rib cage, pelvis, diaphragm, and deep core worked together, then continued building strength on top of that foundation. And here’s something I REALLY want women to understand... improvement doesn’t always mean something has been FIXED. An umbilical hernia is an opening in the abdominal wall, and exercise doesn’t close that opening. For me, improving my breathing mechanics, pressure management, and strength made a noticeable difference in how my abdomen functioned and how much bulging I experienced. And that’s worth talking about!! 👏 Comment FUNCTION for 3 FREE DAYS inside my MLAM Membership, where I teach you how to connect with your core and pelvic floor while building full-body strength! ❤️ #hernia #postpartum #pelvicfloor #deepcore #postpartumfitness
We finally made our way to @sham.tseng.bbq Sham Tseng BBQ in Monterey Park, and we were SO excited to try their famous Peking duck after hearing so many great things! We ordered the HALF duck, and let me tell you… we should have gone BIG and ordered the FULL! The skin was beautifully crispy, rich, and delicious. Every bite had us wishing we had ordered more! Here’s what else made it to our table: - Half Peking Duck - Green Beans - Scallion & Mushroom Pancake - Spare Ribs with Pumpkin - Korean Spare Ribs - Rice - Hot tea to wash it all down Everything was yummy, but that duck was definitely the STAR of the show! A little tip: Since this is a smaller, more intimate restaurant, I’d recommend visiting during off-peak dining hours if you prefer a quieter experience. We arrived right around lunchtime, and the place was packed! Overall, a wonderful meal, delicious food, and definitely a spot we’d revisit. Next time, we’re not making the mistake of ordering half a duck… FULL DUCK IT IS! 📍 Sham Tseng BBQ | Monterey Park, CA #MontereyParkEats #PekingDuck #626Foodie #LAFoodie #MichelleTheCEO
