As #Inktober2024 comes to a close, I wanted to share the one drawing I was most proud of making. I am a huge Jeff Buckley fan, which is why I think I was able to focus so long on this one.

I had also tried using the strippling technique for the first time. It was amazing using dots to create something I had frequently failed to draw by line. I think it goes to show that techniques can be like tools. Even if you find yourself inexperienced with one tool, it can still take you farther than the wrong technique you are used to using.

Special thank you to everybody who participated in Inktober, especially the talented local crew from Alvarez Family Boxing, who kept me accountable until I fell off towards the end of the month.

Still rewarded myself with some new pens though!
