Third time's a charm! After trying for 8 years, I was finally able to ski off the top of México. We had a tight weather window but couldn't have asked for a better day---I was in a T-shirt above 17,000'. Even tighter was our non-existent acclimatization window, but Diamox is my new best friend, and when I couldn't hold down food or water, 500 calories (minus whatever came back up) ended up being enough to get me to the summit.

Big thanks to @snowvols for agreeing to the last minute trip and for waiting during all of my socializing and puke breaks; thanks to the Orizaba OG Joaquin Conchola for the incredibly entertaining ride to 14,000'; and most of all thank you to the Mexican people for being so warm and welcoming. I don't know when or where the next trip to this incredible country will be, but México has my heart and is a place I will keep coming back to. ¡Gracias por todo!
