Thank you to all my loyal fans out there, hopefully this is a return for good. All I can say is the wing life chose me and I love to share my opinion so this is perfect.
Today's wing was from the local Byron Center 76th Street Truck Stop. I went with my family and was able to catch up on life.
I had my Dad try them too! He said the following: He said he's usually not a fan of messy meals so he usually doesn't order wings but these were so easy to eat with utensils which he liked! He also said their sauce game was weak and that he would have preferred a hotter tasting sauce! Overall he rated them a 7.1/10 and would recommend to any dads out there
Here's my take on today's wings: As inspected the menu was very tempted to get a various array of items ranging from breakfast, sandwiches, burgers, (go follow
@burgerlover5000) or even my all time favorite corned beef hash until stumbled upon the basket section tWhere lone and behold they had both bone in and boneless options (with your choice of sauce). Sol assumed it was on the side. I asked what kinds of sauces they had (not pictured on the menu) and went with standard BBQ and a side of tots, not pictured
When food arrived my wings could have been sniffed out from miles away. After being placed in front of me I noticed the sauce was kinda splattered on which wasn't too bothered about I'm like 99.99% confident it was sweet baby rays (good choice no doubt, but a basic at best). The initial crunch was amazing. Super fall off the bone wings. I did appreciate the size of the chicken wings as they were pretty expensive. You could definitely tell they were fried nice and fresh because they were pretty dang hot temperature wise. There is nothing better than a scalding hot chicken wing, they are almost addictive. I would overall rate this a 7.2/10 and would recommend this to any wing beginners looking for a decent start on their road to wing heaven.
See you there
