I took an oath to support and defend the constitution of the United States of America on December 6, 1999. The founding fathers created this American Experiment for the people, not any one person. Although I am disappointed in the election results, I am no less a patriot today than I was yesterday or the day I took my oath. We the people, all of us left and right, will continue to form the fabric of America. We reap what we sow indeed, but seasons change, and no two harvests will ever be identical. We forge forward holding to our ideals and principles and work together to create a more perfect union. Don’t hate, don’t sorrow, and don’t give up.
