I honestly find all of this flabbergasting. I admit, if it were 2016 I would be happier (though annoyed by how the opposition would be upset and wishing they would give him a chance). However, I gave him a chance, saw how much of an incompetent, narcissistic, heartless baby he was, and thus wanted him gone as much as they did. You’d think with how much he lies as much as he breathes and how absurd his lies were that we would see a repeat of 2020, but once again, America proves how absolutely backwardsit truly is.

Let’s face it, unless your identity aligns with that of the founding fathers, you’re screwed.
Our climate policy, despite how this last year was the hottest on record, is screwed.
Even our education is screwed with how he hopes to dismantle the DOE.
Then there’s the growing Christian Nationalism, especially with how bad it’s gotten in Oklahoma through education.
He has control over all three branches, so things will be absolutely dire.

All I can say is, despite how the American Dream has been dead for so long (let’s face it, those with money like Trump and Musk have power no matter what), we can at least try our best to live up to the core values that should be promised to every individual in this country, no matter if they’re straight or queer, Christian or not, or even for the immigrants who have been fed the lie of the American Dream, let’s fight for them.

Btw, this is how I will forever perceive our “president”, you’d have to brainwash me to change my mind.
