HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHARLIE!!!🎉 @charliehurtfnc

So thrilled to win the main prize in the Portrait category with my photo of Alison Spittle at the British Photography Awards!

I was so chuffed to see my photo up there alongside the work of actual professional photographers whose work I’ve admired for years.

A HUGE thank you to Alison for trusting me with her vision. Her homemade dress made of shower loofahs was genius!

A MASSIVE thank you to the judges of the BPAs who I still can’t believe picked my photo out of all the amazing work in the category.

The night wouldn’t have been half as fun if @hollyrnewman wasn’t there with me, so a BIG thank you to my mum for babysitting and allowing us our first proper night out since we became parents!

This is my other photo that was in the running last night. A photo of one of my absolute faves, @fatiha.elghorri

A few weeks ago I asked/ begged my mates to vote for it for the People’s Choice prize but unfortunately it didn’t win. Thank you to everyone who voted anyway, I really appreciate it!

And the biggest thank you to my wife/ bestie/ queen @hollyrnewman What a woman to have in your corner! The most supportive, loving wife and mum!

Ice palace radiance ✨

Winter light, satin layers and an ice palace world where striking beauty meets quiet, confident warmth.

Save this frosted mood for your next burst of winter inspiration.

Each frame follows a feminine presence through carved ice halls, open snow and glowing water.
She moves from fur-lined coats to soft knits and satin pieces, carrying effortless grace into every frozen corner.
Aurora skies, crystal sculptures and golden snowlight turn her magnetic beauty into part of the landscape itself.
These moments whisper that even in the coldest season, feminine allure can feel both powerful and serene.
Let this icy escape remind you how atmosphere, texture and confidence can transform any winter day.

Q: What ties all these winter looks together?
A: Soft faux fur, luminous fabrics and a calm, feminine presence set against sculpted ice and snow.
