There are few experiences as uniquely midwestern as the Wisconsin supper club. Homey and kitschy, supper clubs are destination restaurants where you slow down and enjoy a meal with those most important to you. Earlier this year, a dream team of vendors came together to create this modern take on a (and in a) classic Wisconsin Supper Club. The guests - a group of 10 friends from across the country - flew in to dine at the historic Duck Inn, in Delavan, WI. For just one night, we renamed the private dining room to the “Cadillac Supper Club,” a joke amongst guests.

Many supper clubs originated as a response to prohibition, The Duck Inn being one of them (a great place to duck in for a sneaky cocktail, of course). Many of these supper clubs still thrive, and act as a time capsule to another era. Staples include relish trays, prime rib, mozzarella logs (will explain later), and brandy old fashioneds. We can’t wait to share more from this fun evening!
