I don’t think I’ve ever shared this, but my whole life, I was told I would do something with my hands. They’re my mother’s hands, after all, and that’s something I don’t take lightly. Maybe, in some ways, that led me to jewelry. Or maybe jewelry was always written in the stars-but somehow, I landed here, with my hands being the main focus of my work. And the irony makes me smile. It begs the question: Do we shape our reality, or does our reality shape us? Each piece I create holds a story, just like the hands that wear them. They carry weight in both meaning and metal, making them worthy of being passed down through generations. That was always the idea… creating with the future in mind. As I look down at my hands now, I see chapped skin, sunspots starting to pop up, chipped nails, and dirt ground into every crease. I see the hands of a woman who cares more about keeping animals fed, stalls clean, and food growing from dense soil than manicures and perfect polish. And I wouldn’t have it any other way. In the end, it all becomes part of you, your story and the path you choose, or the one that chooses you🤍
