Researchers documented an unusual sexual bond between a male donkey and a bull during fieldwork in Ethiopia. The team was in the Ethiopian highlands to study gelada monkeys when they spotted Achille, a bull, and Patroclo, a male donkey, together in a nearby grazing area. Over a number of days, Achille was seen mounting Patroclo. Mounting was documented 51 times, with 34 of the events resulting in intromission. Another male donkey in the pasture flattened its ears and backed away when Achille tried the same thing. Patroclo never did, and appeared to present his hindquarters to the bull. The pair also licked, rubbed and nuzzled each other more than they did other animals, and they spent most of their observed time close together. According to the researchers, it appears to be the first documented case of a sustained same-sex sexual relationship between a bull and a donkey. The observations show animal sexual behavior can be a more complex social phenomenon than we might realize, the team says. Full story at the 🔗 in bio — @sciencealert 📖 Source: da Cruz et al. (2026). Kenyan gospel duo Wapendwa Muziki have faced backlash after revealing that they use Artificial Intelligence (AI) to create song demos. The couple clarified that they use Suno AI to create demos that guide their music producers on how they want their songs to sound. They explained that they write their own lyrics, which come from their faith, ideas and creativity, while AI only helps them during the music production process.

WHIPLASH (2014) — Directed by Damien Chazelle, starring Miles Teller, J.K. Simmons, Paul Reiser, and Melissa Benoist. The film follows Andrew Neiman, an ambitious young jazz drummer studying at one of the most prestigious music conservatories in the country. Determined to become one of the greatest musicians of his generation, Andrew pushes himself beyond his limits in pursuit of perfection. His life takes a dramatic turn when he catches the attention of Terence Fletcher, an intimidating and brutally demanding music instructor known for his unconventional teaching methods. What begins as an opportunity to prove his talent soon becomes an intense psychological battle between a student desperate for greatness and a teacher obsessed with pushing people beyond their breaking point. As Andrew sacrifices his relationships, health, and peace of mind, the line between discipline and abuse, ambition and obsession, begins to disappear. Driven by extraordinary performances, relentless editing, and an electrifying jazz score, Whiplash transforms the pursuit of perfection into a nerve-racking psychological experience. A brutal exploration of ambition, obsession, sacrifice, and the terrifying price of greatness. TAGS: Whiplash, Whiplash 2014, Damien Chazelle, Miles Teller, J.K.
