#NEWS - Ryan Garcia reportedly got into a confrontation with a YouTuber who was filming at @gamdom’s Halloween party.

The incident allegedly began when the YouTuber recorded inside the event, and tensions escalated into a physical altercation.

The full circumstances surrounding the confrontation remain unclear.

Was Ryan out of line, or should the YouTuber have stopped filming? 🤔

Los Angeles flipped overnight, and the count is still going. Nithya Raman, the councilwoman challenging Mayor Karen Bass, leads 405,193 votes to 379,069 in the latest Decision Desk count, about 51.7 percent to 48.3 percent. Bass led by two points when the first results landed on Tuesday night. By Wednesday morning the late ballots had erased that lead and put Raman ahead by roughly 26,000 votes. The Associated Press has not called the race, and Raman has not declared victory. California counts mail ballots for days after Election Day, and the county does not certify until November 27.

Raman is the councilwoman backed by the Democratic Socialists of America and the District 4 representative who once counted Bass as an ally. She took 29 percent in the June primary to Bass’s 34.3 percent, with reality television figure Spencer Pratt taking 25.5 percent on anger over the city’s direction. Seven in ten primary voters wanted someone other than the incumbent. Raman’s base is younger voters and the city’s progressive wing, the bloc that has grown more powerful at City Hall since she first won her council seat in 2020.

Whoever wins inherits a city staring down the 2028 Summer Olympics with homelessness, housing costs, and public safety as its most visible failures. Bass won the office in 2022 as the city’s first Black woman mayor and a career legislator. Raman offers the sharper break: a council insider running as the change candidate against her own mayor. The early vote said Bass. The late vote said Raman. Los Angeles is about to find out which version of itself it voted for.
