ISRO's journey has been one of India’s greatest scientific achievements. Built over decades with public money and the dedication of generations of scientists, the organisation has become a global symbol of indigenous innovation. But today, questions are being raised about its future as India’s space policy shifts manufacturing and commercial launch operations towards private companies. Reports of over 100 scientists leaving ISRO, concerns over the transfer of public infrastructure and technology to corporate players have added to the growing debate over whether India’s space programme is being quietly privatised. #ISRO #spacetechnology #news #democracy #science
