Yesterday, January 15, marked 12 years since my beautiful son Daniel passed away suddenly 😞♥️ It still feels just like yesterday when I heard the terrible news, and felt the most unimaginable pain and sorrow in my entire life 🙏🏻
When I was 8 years old I heard Sir Elton John’s song “Daniel” - It was at a huge family event at my grandmother’s house, and I stood in front of everyone and announced “I don’t know when, where or how, but when I have a son I will name him “Daniel” 🥹 - Many years went by after that day, I did have a son, and I did named him “Daniel” 💫
My son loved the story about his naming as he was growing up, and he used to tell all his friends about it with such pride 💚
I had the honour and pleasure to see Sir Elton John @eltonjohn in concert 3-4 years ago, and heard him play this very special song life ☺️ This is a (very shaky) snippet of the video I took that night 💫
