ONLY GOD KNOWS
The year started with so many uncertainties, lots of ups and downs, decided to go for my admission @ebonylifecreativeacademy where I was to be among 15 lucky young Creatives studying the Art of Directing in a way it was to escape being at home as there might not be enough jobs in the early hours of the year. Then while at the academy, it became one of my MANTRAs, Study, practice and earn. Soon it was MARCH and our calendar year comes to an end at the academy but before signing out, I had a discussion with one of my academy mates who asked a tricky question about my people Benue state (IDOMA), that question led to my writing and Executive producing my debut short film ELAKECHE. I am most grateful it will forever roll to be my first official directorial debut cos of it's indigeneity.
Afterwards, series of works as 1ST & 2ND AD on projects based on recommendations from friends and bosses, It is a humbling experience.
In the course of the year, I met so many great men that I have longed to see and build a network of learning and mentoring @femiodugbemi @rogbathebaron @kennethuphopho @brendauphopho one of the gifts 2024 presented me with and I am grateful for the gift of men.
As the year draws to an end, here I am with my 2nd Short film of the year title #ONYEMOWO (Who knows your destiny? ONLY GOD KNOWS). This work is a collective work of young Creatives who are willing to work and bring about beauty in the world off ARTs. I appreciate the gift of men in my life in the year 2024 and I bless God for always coming through for me and my team.
Officially, It's a Wrap for us at IdomaLion Creations and we appreciate all our sponsors and support systems, friends of friends, families and all who ensured I am not sitting at home once job opportunities come knocking.... I love you all.
I am more experienced and ready to work on projects come 2025 as God gifts us life and strength.... See you on your set next year as you experience the beauty of IdomaLion (Follow me, as I FOLLOW CHRIST...... Let's make magic).
