Ah man, 2024 was one hell of a year ✨

I’ve lived the best of both worlds between London & Wales and 2024 is a prime example of how lucky I’ve been to experience both: I got to spend the first six months by the coast, swimming in the sun on the hot days and taking in the fresh air on the cold days.

And for the last six months I’ve probably lived out every teenage dreams I’ve ever had. Coming back to London has been like starting all over in the best and most incredible way.

As a sentimentalist it’s kinda hard to narrow down the highlights but here we go:

1. Finally made the step into the industry I’ve always wanted to be in! 🙌🏻

2. Got to review Kylie Minogue @bsthydepark first week on the job. Got to watch my fave band @entershikari in NYC & had the chance to write a column for a national paper. 📝

3. I had the most unforgettable holiday with my best friends @amypotter333 @niamhsteve in California - a trip that was in every way perfect 🌊🐳

4. Celebrated the big 3-0 in a way that I could have only imagined in my dreams 🎈

5. Had the most incredible and fun-filled days in New York City thanks to @thomasrofe, I don’t think I’ve ever packed in so much in such a short amount of time 🗽

6. Got to review @rdrfestival yet again, but this year for a national paper 🎵

7. Moved back to London after a wonderful year at home in Wales, having met a wonderful bunch of people 💗

8. Got to interview @mcflymusic & @busted making all my teenage dreams come true 📻

9. Took a mini break to Aberystwyth to walk the coastal path and watch @mouthculture 🚶‍♀️

10. Swam / ate ice cream / basked in the sun all on my front door step in Wales.🍦

11. Oh, and of course, Taylor freaking Swift 🪩🎊

+ many more gigs, finding new places and spending time with the people who mean the most ✨

There’s been a hella lot to smile about this year.
