I didn’t really want to let this pass by and not continue the three year wrap streak. 2024 was literally my annus horribilis. This year continued to present me with crisis upon crisis but I’m glad I stuck to one of the resolutions I had made last new year’s: “Go out and socialise”. I made so many amazing friends without whom I may not be alive today. I am filled with gratitude and love. This year will be kinder, I just know it.

WHAT A SPECTACULAR SHOW!!! 😭✨🧚🏾‍♀️ Honestly, Strictly Halloween, you were something else! The creativity, the costumes, the performances, the production, the atmosphere… WOW! What an extraordinary amount of talent, imagination and hard work goes into creating this magic. A huge round of applause to EVERYONE who made this show so special! 👏🏾❤️ And a very special thank you to my incredible hair, makeup and styling team. Your dedication to your craft, your creativity, your attention to detail and the love you pour into everything you do… I am constantly in awe of you. What you created was simply breathtaking. ❤️ Yesterday, while getting ready, I was honestly excited like a little girl. The hair, the makeup, the dress, the wings… I couldn’t stop smiling. Because somewhere in all that magic, my inner child came alive again. That little girl growing up in South Africa could never have imagined any of this. She was a tough little girl. She had to be. But underneath that toughness was a little girl who wanted to dream, play, feel beautiful and experience a little magic. And sometimes, sitting in that makeup chair, I realise that it’s not just the woman I am today experiencing these moments. It’s also the little girl I once was. 🥹 Maybe that’s one of the greatest gifts of growing older. Being able to give your inner child experiences she never even dared to dream of. So if there’s a little space in your heart, save some for little Motsi. Because all of this is such a beautiful gift to her. ❤️ To my team, thank you for giving my inner child another moment of pure joy.
