#collab Why would a semiconductor CEO invest money in an Indian motorcycle company? To understand this, look at the IPs and the cap table of @ultraviolette_automotive The company has built a motorcycle called X47 Venom, which is manufactured in India... and has innovated on a number of things, which did not exist for EV motorcycles as a category earlier... For example: * Over 40 battery patents * Can go up to 343 kms in a single charge, which means an average person would need to charge it just half the times in a week compared to any other EV motorcycle * It has Radar, in built dashcam, pyrofuse which are features you get in premium cars * And making it 20 kgs lighter despite all these features And the cap table... 1/ Exor, the holding company behind Ferrari, that brings automotive expertise... 2/ Qualcomm that brings chips 3/ TDK from Japan that brings batteries 4/ TVS that brings manufacturing muscle 5/ Zoho that brings patient capital So while we see that FIIs or capital investors are exiting India which has led to the poor performance of India’s listed markets... Right now, Gross FDI into India has hit a new record of about $95 billion in FY26... Net FDI inflows rose to $7.7 billion in FY26 from $1 billion in FY25... which means the money currently flowing into India is to build actual innovation on ground... Even with Ultraviolette’s round, almost 800 crores will go into building a factory, which will manufacture up to 5 lakh vehicles in a year... and they’re already selling in 20 countries... I think India is making progress in several industries other than AI, where the results will show when we look at the performance in 5 years. #casarthakahuja
The audacity of hurting someone, disrupting their peace, and then acting like nothing ever happened is something else. But maturity is realising that not everyone who hurts you deserves an explanation, a confrontation, or even access to you anymore. Sometimes, silence isn’t weakness; it’s simply the decision to stop expecting accountability from people who lack the emotional maturity to offer it.
