One of the coolest date nights in Sarasota 🍣✨

We were invited to try Yūgen, an intimate 10-seat omakase hidden inside Zōtō at UTC. Omakase means “I’ll leave it up to you,” so instead of ordering from a menu, you trust the chef, and I tried so many things I’d never had before. Everything was SO incredibly fresh and delicious.

Each course is prepared right in front of you, served one by one and explained along the way, from delicate sashimi to wagyu to a seasonal dessert. It was the most incredible experience. The chefs made it so fun, and the menu changes with the seasons, so there’s always something new to try.

It really feels like dinner and an experience in one. Definitely one to save for your next date night, celebration, or anytime you want to try something a little different in Sarasota. @yugen.fl 🤍
