Tempo Rádió

Aikatherina is a relatively new DJ in Hungary. She’s an omnivorous music lover who began selecting tracks six months ago. Her mixes include both new and old-school jungle/drum’n’bass, but she has also played garage, 2-step, ambient, and jazz sets.

The video game Time Crisis was my main inspiration. As a child, we would go on holidays to Croatia, where we sometimes played air hockey at a modest local club. I immediately fell in love with the intro music of the only arcade machine there. Although I never played the game, I knew the melody by heart. Years later, when jungle/dnb opened my eyes to new sounds, I tried to translate this childhood experience into a DJ set.

See you in our time crisis ;)
