At Coalesce, the stories we tell are just as important as the movement we create. This year, we handed a camper a camcorder and invited them to document one day of the camp—random shots, raw moments, and everything in between.

The idea? To embrace the presence of cameras but shift their purpose. Instead of creating isolation, we used them as a bridge for connection. By passing the camcorder into participants’ hands, we made sure everyone had the chance to shape the narrative of our time together.

Here’s what they saw, through their eyes, as a piece of the collective story we created.
