In the Year of the Serpent, two dreams arise,
One gleams with gold, yet it fades and flies.
The dream of the world, so fleeting, so bright,
A glow that falters with the fall of night.

Another whispers, profound and still,
Earth’s dream calling, to pause, to feel.
Her truth lives in the roots and stone,
In quiet spaces, we are never alone.

Between these dreams, we stand unsure,
But perhaps, dear soul, the choice is pure.
For love sees beyond the world’s decay,
It holds the light, though shadows stay.

Love is no stranger to sorrow or pain,
Like light and shadow are kin, not bane.
Earth’s quiet soul holds wisdom untold,
Her voice is gentle, her wisdom bold.
She transforms the shadows, does not disdain,
From storm’s fierce might to the fertile plain.

The serpent rises, coiled inside,
Wishing for the heart to be our guide.
She waits not for us to decide,
But to see the truth we already hold inside.

Which dream will you own, fleeting or known?
The World’s magic show, or Earth’s quiet throne?

Moon quietly watches the flow,
The eternal union of body and soul.
She does not wane, neither she grows.
Her light an offering, her fullness known.
So, too, are we, reflections of nature’s truth,
Empty, full, beyond and before.
