Still struggling to find the truth in all this. From the beginning to the end, I have loved you and have always wanted to make you proud. I pray you give me strength to endure walking this earth without you. I’m not prepared for all the days ahead. Each minute feels like an eternity. I watch that last slide and laugh, but most of all, I would give ANYTHING to have you hug me one last time. Even though you just got out of the freezing cold pool, I wanted that hug back then (despite the rebuttal). I wanted so badly to make you a grandfather, I just wasn’t quick enough. I will speak highly of you and I pray my future child will know how great his “Pops” was. I’ll be sure that child knows. I miss you, Daddy. I’ll miss you forever. 💔
