Technocromatica 🛠️ Concept, execution and installation made in 48H, an impromptu sound activation for @foundrydowntown ✍🏻 8H curated music complemented by hand crafted 3D posters inspired by synthesized music through color, texture and dimension. I used elements I designed over time and new ones to capture the emotional essence specifically connected to electronic music. I always thought 3D to be the best representation of digitally made sounds: the crispness of the details, the contrasts of the materials and the hyper surreal focus resemble the level of accuracy and deepness of the synthetized music I work with.

The sound booth also wanted to resemble a 3D element in the space with reflective metal, light and tactile pattern accents making it not just a desk but an integral piece of the room and exhibition. I made the overall room lighting dim with red tones to relax the eye and have a subtle club inspired environment to match with the auditory journey.

Fun fact, the poster frames were repurposed from older 3D posters used in club setups for @sectacollective events. The history and visible usage and slight damage of the frames themselves connected on a deeper level with the concept of the exhibition. I decided to give space also to the original posters which I grouped on the wall on a more random collage style.
