I went back & forth about adding a voiceover to this, I have to give respect to @kendricklamar & what he did for the culture last night.. he owns the timeline & I own no longer fighting myself to appease people who wouldn’t even fight for me.

Menopause hair loss has been making me its bitch for 5 years! While spending 10 days in the desert during lunar new year, the year of the snake, I needed to shed away some things that was holding me hostage. After waking up in a pristine bed covered with clumps of hair, it was time for me to take my power back, ownership of my body & own that I am not my hair at all!

Chapter 50 incoming this September. With everything I’ve survived in my life, everyday I get to see should be a celebration. Menopause doesn’t get to take that away from me & it shouldn’t take that away from you either. Thank you @navacooper & @benny_cooper3000 for the sanctuary of your @athomeness @airbnb @therosyboa in Joshua Tree giving me the space to heal, rest, create & renew 🫶🏾
