The pressure put on us is so high. We have doubt, insecurities, and often wonder if what we did is enough. We push our dancers to a level most are not used to. We have built a team culture where they are holding each other to a higher standard. Our goal is always to leave feeling proud of what we put on the floor and to leave strong as a team, no matter the placements. We worry about what we can control and not the uncontrollables. I never thought I would or could coach a season like this. PROUD is an understatement! GRATEFUL doesn’t describe it! So THANKFUL for my assistant coach Journey, who loves this sport and team as much as I do! For our team who doesn’t like to work out but does it anyways because they know it’s what needs to be done! For taking our critiques and changes and nitpicking and still come back for more because they know we are just trying to make them their personal best! For their parents who trust in us and let us do our job! Backing up our decisions and putting the team first! This program is something I am so so proud of and I am so happy that my passion for the program is seen and appreciated! While we never know what each year will bring, I am so happy to enjoy our moment today!! Congratulations to my team!! I could not be more proud to be your coach!!!!
