I’m not saying it’s better to be single than in an amazing committed partnership. I think that would be a wonderful journey. If and when I meet my amazing man, I will be grateful and open to it. But I’m not about to waste my time dating the wrong men. I would rather be fulfilled and alone, than with someone who has not on my level just so I don’t feel lonely. God first, family first, making money and being healthy.

Agree 💯- it’s hard to get to this place as an accomplished woman. It took me 15 years post- divorce to get here, but so worth it. I too spent years working hard as a physician and giving my time, energy and attention to my two children who are thriving. Oh yeah, and doing the hard work looking inwards to level up my relational awareness.

Yep. The pickings are slim and I've read enough Reddit to know I don't want to be the one doing all the work all the time. Just saying.
