📸 Kongehuset ©️

Princess Leia FTW! 👻 Is that what you chose in my poll yesterday?? . . Keep swiping! 🎃 How could I resist when my son decided to be a Stormtrooper?? (Next slide!) This is sort of a recreation of a picture I took in 2002 - and yes I am actually wearing the exact same outfit; I've kept it all these years! (The 2002 pic is the last slide 👀.) Aren't you a little tall for a Stormtrooper? 😋 We celebrated with great friends like @jason_priestley & @naydoggy (who has seen better days 🤣) My gladiator! 🥰 Omg @naydoggy 🤣 My good friend @riley_weston (who I wrote my @greatamericanfamily Christmas movie with last year!) My mom and her good friend! Okay this was epic - by the end of the night, @johnelefantemusic singing (was the lead singer of the band Kansas) and @mikeverta playing piano...! Belting out Beatles and Billy Joel songs with @johnelefantemusic while dressed up like Princess Leia was not on my Bingo card this year, but I'll take it! There I am in 2002 wearing the same outfit and posing with a Stormtrooper. 😋 I guess some things never change. 😁 . . Thank you @mikeverta and @thelaurabethlove for a great party! . . Hope your Halloween was fun and safe!! 👻🎃
Pondering what’s next… ✨ After years of working all the time, momming to maybe a slightly too intense degree, and constantly filling my days with tasks, I’m starting to realize that keeping busy doesn’t necessarily quiet the mind. Maybe it just keeps me from asking the bigger questions. So now I’m trying something new. Slowing down. Sitting with the quiet. And asking myself something that feels surprisingly difficult… What do I want? What do I really want? For me. Not what needs to get done. Not what everyone else needs from me. Just… me. You’d think that would be an easy question to answer. Turns out, not so much. Anyone else finding this part of life a little challenging? 🤍 #WhatsNext #FindingMyselfAgain #MidlifeReflections
