Finally getting round to sharing pictures of some details in my photobook, Saraphina in the garden.

The origins of this work can be traced back to my first solo trip to Tanzania in December 2023. Central to its making is the importance of developing contemporary archival practices in the Black community, taking ownership of our narratives and preserving our stories in our own ways.

I’m ready to bring this project to a close for a moment and make space for new stories and experiences to be made and shared.
