You have no way to go back in time, so why even try? You can only move forward in time, hopefully to a better future. I hate reminiscing about some magical past time when everything was better. Maybe that made sense in the Dark Ages... but for me nostalgia is just complete bullshit. Be happy in the here and now, and if you have a problem with now, change it for the better in the future. It's that simple.

Almost Too Much to Love

One lovely thing
would have been enough

But life
has never understood
when to stop

Joy gets
carried away

So do we

And suddenly
the heart
falls in love
with all of it

A still life in motion
Captured like a memory
Framed like a painting

#StillLifeInMotion #ColorAsNarrative #AtmosphereAsLanguage #VisualStorytelling #CinematicDesign

this is the look I put on for almost everything… shoots, events, out with friends, etc.

Jerrelle Guy (@chocolateforbasil) loves a chic dessert. This one is all elegance, glossy with a ganache that envelops tender chocolate cake topped with that tahini mousse.
