As I start my work on this new series of etchings, I'm so thankful to God that things work out and fall into place. As I was constrained with resources to pursue specific mediums, thankfully I was able to utilize the printmaking studio at my alma mater (and now, also my workplace as I teach two studios here). Different printmaking methods require specific studio setups, and for intaglio etching there is a series of steps involved; from preparing the etching plate to inking and then printing.

This is a series that I couldn't wait to begin work on. In the upcoming days you will see glimpses into the drawing process.
