Democratic socialist Nithya Raman will defeat incumbent Karen Bass in the Los Angeles mayor's race, CNN projects.

With Raman’s victory, the nation’s two largest cities — New York and Los Angeles — will be led by democratic socialists as of next year.

Raman, a city councilmember, overtook Republican Spencer Pratt in June’s nonpartisan primary to set up what was arguably a tougher race for Bass, a Democratic former congresswoman.

Raman has vowed to cut street homelessness in half before Los Angeles hosts the 2028 Olympics.

I broke down 5 unconventional ways to think about a handful of Mahjong strategies to completely shift your mid-game logic and train your brain to look at the same strategy from entirely different angles.
