a year ago🔥🔥🔥 Back in 2018, I was 59 and I wanted to see how many pushups I could get to. Started with only a few, each day I at least reached yesterday's rep number and added more when my body let me. At around 700ish I started to cramp at my wrists. I switched to hand release pushups. 9 months later, I hit 1000 pushups and stopped increasing because it was a cool number for me. Today, at 66 and still doing 1000 rep sets, it takes me about 30 minutes to do a set of 1000 hand release pushups, which I repeat every 3 days-among my other high rep bodyweight routines. I'm training for endurance, not necessarily for muscle growth nor strength increases. With patience and gradual increases, high rep routines are attainable. In 2018, I made a Youtube of a full set of 1000 hand release pushups, among my other high rep bodyweight routines. https://youtube.com/@jerrywloch?feature=shared Best wishes to everyone's health and training goals.
