There’s nothing fun or pretty about it but as women it’s just another day in paradise ☀️😣
Here’s some tips for working out during that time of the month!
1️⃣ LISTEN TO YOUR BODY👂🏼: If your body is telling you it can’t push that weight today, it can’t finish those 2 reps or even that you have to cut the session short, it’s OKAY. One off day is not going to throw off your training.
2️⃣ STAY HYDRATED 💦: Being in the gym already means staying on top of hydration but when it’s that time of the month it’s so important we’re staying hydrated while losing so much blood. This can help with menstrual cramps & can reduce headaches.
3️⃣ EAT 🥦🐔: Nothing new here but appetites are definitely all over the place during this time. Give yourself some grace. One craving isn’t going to cause you to gain 10lbs 😂 Feed the craving but don’t over do it.
4️⃣ DO WHAT WORKS FOR YOU✨: At the end of the day we are all different & our menstrual affects us differently. If you can’t lift that weight today, don’t. If your body says it’s only doing 3 sets instead of 4, okay. If you wanna stay home, do it. Don’t let anyone make you feel bad for how you maneuver when it’s that time of month. Remember it’s YOUR body 💜
