NEW MUSIK
@bethlehemshalom Bethlehem Shalom blasts off with Go Rocket!, a high-energy, retro-futurist Space Age Soul PopswaggerING ditty. Channeling the garage-pop grit of Shannon & The Clams and the glossy uplift of The Sylvia Striplin, the track pulses with buoyant rhythms and a hook-laden drive, wrapped in the campy, cosmic glow of Barbarella-esque visuals.

Go Rocket! wrestles with self-doubt and resilience, its call-and-response refrain—“I can’t go on / Oh yes you can / Oh I’m not strong / Oh yes you are”—serving as a mantra of propulsion from uncertainty to ascendance. “When I was a girl, I knew there were crazier things out there than me. Now I’m not so sure—I feel that the crazy consumed all that was me,” she reflects. Once she saw the world as wilder than herself—now, she fears she’s been lost in its madness.

It’s a track that wrestles with oneself, wrapped up in a lot of fun.
