Mike Hughes

Pictures from the last @roundhouseimprov show at @thegreenroomvenue. Thanks to @ithamarenriquez and @brianshortall for inviting us to join the @deliciousmomentscomedy show.

The original Roundhouse members met in Monika Smith’s level 1 class at Nerdist. For roughly a decade almost every Saturday afternoon I’d rehearse with Roundhouse. Those rehearsals provided a structure you need when you’re single and have no kids and work from home. Rehearsing and performances with (over time-deep breath) @getdanny @theruthieholmes @the.dapper.dan @dustinloomis @aj.berna @micahjgordon @flynnb @alexryanfrank @claireriffle1 @jcherrry @fakeamandahinkley and @modelaune.mp4 , coached by @missmonikasmith and then @jamdetroit and with regular subs like @mollyerdman and @themikemclendon and @zhuddleston and @carlacackowski - even sometimes made me feel like a competent improviser and decent actor.

Change is inevitable I guess and this is one of many chapters of my life that’s closed lately. I’m grateful I had it.
